Michael Ball
Website Design and Development
Michael Ball has worked for craft&design Magazine since 1999 as a writer and since 2003 as website developer. He has previously worked as a wood carver, silver jewellery maker and craft project designer.
Michael runs Beyond the North Wind website design based in East Sussex, specialising in websites for artists and makers.
"Craftsman has had a website since 1998. A number of skilled designers have worked on it, and over the years it has grown exponentially - it now includes directories of galleries and guilds, downloadable pdf's, an online gallery - Craftsman Selected - and more. The current site has been produced almost entirely by Paul and myself, and between us we've put a lot of work into planning, designing and developing it. Like most websites, it is a constant work in progress - we're always looking for new web facilities that will be useful for craft&design readers."
