  I am thinking of starting selling on Etsy and wondered if anybody had any experience of it? Do you find it a good outlet? Do you have many overseas buyers are are buyers mostly from the UK? Have you any tips for promoting your etsy shop and getting featured on the front page? Any advice / comments welcome.

• Hi I have just posted on the site and have found a few problems with it, they ony deal in dollars for a start and are not so well known in the uk, I have also looked at another two sites that might be of interest

• Hi I was told about etsy and set up a shop in August after sorting postage costs out listing items I have still not sold anything.
  However I found the site great but read alot of storque pages which where helpfull.
  I think you need to constantly advertise and relist so your work is seen instantly.
  Its a cheap way of selling so worth a try.

• Hi there,
  I have an Etsy shop and have sold reasonably well. However, all the sales so far have been to the USA and Australia, so make sure you factor shipping costs into your price!
  I have been told that, the more frequently you list items and the more you get involved with the whole Etsy community thing (assuming you have the time!), then you are likely to gain a higher profile and increase your sales.
