Precious Tiny Vessels with Erna Piechna

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
The height of a tiny vessel is about 4 cm. It is worked in layers of glass, cold worked and polished with delicate patterns on the outside (sometimes the inside) and many more details. A lot of fine handwork goes into this little gem. These tiny and very precious vessels are not designed to be utilitarian. Full Day Introduction to Glass Fusing with Enamels

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
Winner of the Gold Award for Glass, Steve Robinson is a glass artist specialising in kiln-fusing. Steve is one of only a few professional glass artists working with enamel powders to colour the glass (rather than pre-coloured glass). He has developed his own techniques for working with these enamels, which he will share with you. You'll make your own large wall hanging and some smaller pieces. Book by: 9 Nov '18

Living Crafts for Christmas

Living Crafts for Christmas showcases over 180 British designer-makers with original, handmade craft and is the highlight of the winter season at Blenheim Palace, near Oxford. The event attracts around 17,000 visitors (inc over 100 coaches) and is held in carpeted, lined and heated pavilions in the majestic courtyards & buildings.
