A Day Discovering Raku - Pottery Workshop

This course is suitable for beginners, with no experience of pottery.
Raku firing is unique and one of the most dramatic and
exciting ways to fire pottery. It was developed in Japan
in the 16th century for the Japanese tea ceremony.

Introduction to Crewel Work

Hand Weave a Scarf on a Table Loom

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
Twill has many variations but all are characterised by the diagonal lines formed in the weaving.The 4 shaft looms will be set up ready to go, enabling you to explore texture and colour combinations on the day.

Design Block Print & Make a Lampshade with Georgia Wilkinson

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
Tutor Georgia Wilkinson will help you design repeat patterns, make block prints using a variety of mixed media tools & practice on paper before printing up the cotton panama fabric she brings. The material will be then cured, hand rolled and carefully finished into a lampshade.

Willow Sculptures with Phil Bradley- Hens & Cockerels
