A celebration of all that is good to eat and drink (and a lot more besides) at this well loved event now running for its 8th year, now in a new home at the Hertfordshire County Showground. You can enjoy browsing, sampling and buying from Food, craft and art stallholders together with enjoying cookery demonstrations, throughout the weekend.
We are very much looking forward to bringing a Country Fair to this terrific venue. All day entertainment will include Bikes & Buggies Stunt Show, birds of prey & owl displays, terrier racing, children's entertainer plus Circus Skills Workshop, the 'FANYS' Living History Display on Horseback, the goat show including bottle feeding lambs and children's petting pens. The British Craft Trade Fair represents all that's great about British handmade arts and crafts. Over 500 exhibitors show every year making it the largest fair of it's kind in Europe. The work on display is second to none and many of our exhibitors only show with us, allowing the buyer a truly unique experience.
This event, one of our largest, will be held mainly in marquees. However visitors will be able to discover a diverse range of sculptures, garden art and outdoor exhibits as they wander around the world renowned gardens and up towards the state-of-the-art glasshouse.
Now in its 8th year, this family Country Fair has something for everyone. All day entertainment which may include birds of prey, working dogs, children's entertainment as well as arts, crafts, gifts and food marquees.
The Select Festival 2017 is full of stimulating and inspiring exhibitions, workshops, talks that include Jilly Edwards and Lesley Millar, a symposium with Alice Kettle, June Hill and Melanie Miller among the key note speakers. Exhibitions include Textile Study group's new project DIS/rupt with 2 major exhibitions and workshops. Sculpture exhibition and the Collectives Fair. More details soon
Hundreds of designer-makers from across the UK exhibit at this major four day craft event which celebrates the very best of British design and craftsmanship. Living Crafts is a vibrant showcase of contemporary and heritage crafting skills and also features over 40 workshops, specialist masterclasses and demonstrations, together with the Emerging Designers a Craft&Design Month Marquee and more.
