Woolfest is the original British Festival of Wool and a great celebration of nature's finest fibres. Woolfest has everything from rare breed animals and a raw fleece sale to craft equipment, materials, yarns and finished goods - over 160 stalls, demonstrations and all with wool at the heart. 2014 will be the tenth Woolfest so look out for details of special events and opportunities to take part

The fair is held inside the rooms of the medieval castle as well as in the grassy courtyard. It attracts new and returning customers having built a high reputation over the past 26 years. Stallholders value the personal attention and help they receive at this family-run fair.
