Woodworking Skills (12 weeks)

An intensive and highly practical 12 week woodworking skills course incorporating furniture design and making, suitable for complete beginners. Students take a City & Guilds 6218 Level 1 Certificate in Basic Construction Skills and an optional level 3 qualification. Turn basic stitches into useful crochet squares in our special workshop. We'll be working with the skills you bring, so this workshop is suitable for beginners, intermediate crocheters and knitters who fancy giving crochet a go.
Hand-embroider a lovely Easter decoration in goldwork. The simple design in golden metal thread will be set off beautifully by a lush background fabric. You will have a choice of different spring-like colourways. The design embroidered will incorporate the main types of metal thread and a variety of techniques.
