Silver Jewellery - Classic and Contemporary

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
Make beautiful pieces of contemporary silver jewellery using traditional techniques. This course involves extensive hands-on practice and expert tuition in a well-equipped studio. The tutor is an award-winning designer-jeweller and has taught extensively. Beginners will make a silver band ring, and then progress to making items such as earrings, bangles, pendants and cuff links.

Jewellery - Beads, Buttons, Wire and Threads

Students will learn to shape and manipulate various forms of jewellery based on the use of jewellery wires to make exciting pieces of wearable jewellery. The tutor will show and teach students how to use a range of expert jewellery making tools and with these new skills will be able to create some simple and elegant jewellery which can be given as gifts or kept to oneself as a treat.

Woolly Willow Sheep

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
Make a wonderful woolly willow sheep - no home is complete without one! You will make an open willow structure for the body and use finer weaving techniques for the face and ears. The sheep can be finished by sewing some prewashed fleece to the body frame, or free-weaving willow to create a fleecy look.
