Glass Artist Adam Aaronson's new studio in West Horsley, near Guildford, is open for three weekends for the Art for Christmas - Surrey Artists Open Studios events. This popular, practical course provides invaluable hints, tips and skills to interest and inspire all levels of jewellery maker. You will practice techniques such as soldering, forging, stone setting and polishing, going home with several completed items of jewellery.
In this relaxed two day class, you'll find it is a great follow on from your Intermediate metal clay knowledge. During the two days you will make at least five items , fire and finish them to a good standard. This course is designed to take your skills to the next level. An Introduction to Glass Blowing: Half-day Saturday/Sunday course Glass Artist Adam Aaronson's half-day course is an exciting and intensive experience aimed at introducing beginners to the wonders of hot glass. Be guided by a professional ceramist and gain confidence in basic ceramic techniques. For the more experienced it is a chance to develop and apply skills you already have. (please note: A 2 week break 24th Dec 2013 and 31 Dec 2013)

Our Winter Retreat in November brings together four of our workshops into one amazing week for a very special price. But you don't have to book for the whole week if you can't spare the time. Individual days are available. But if you can make the whole week, you can benefit from all four courses and make a saving on the price.
This one day workshop is suitable for all levels from complete beginners to more experienced lace makers. Beginners will complete a bookmark to take home and more experienced lace makers will work on an individual project with Louise's help.
