Introduction to Drawing

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
Ideal for students who are new to drawing or those that would like a refresher. This taster course will introduce some basic principles of drawing including observation and mark-making, in a supportive and enjoyable manner. Coracle Making

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
The coracle is a vessel with an ancient lineage. Historically a fishing craft, it is ideally suited to exploring small streams and ponds as well as larger rivers. In this two-day workshop you will build and cover a traditionally inspired coracle frame that you may be able to paddle during the course.

Wheel-Throwing

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
This course covers all techniques from basic beginner level skills such as clay preparation, centring, throwing, to making cylinders, bowls and turning a foot ring. More advanced learners will be challenged with individual tasks such as lids, spouts and plates etc. Learners will have one wheel each.
