The craft&design Award at Potfest in the Pens 2010

Each year we sponsor this ceramics Award, where exhibitors at Potfest are invited to make a special piece to reflect a particular theme. This is regarded as an opportunity for potters to employ different skills and techniques from those they usually work with, a chance to experiment, create an original piece and have fun with clay! The 2010 competition theme was 'Altars, Shrines and Markers' and our winner is Jan Lewis-Eccleston, whose work will be the front cover feature for the July/August 2011 issue of craft↦design Magazine.
